The Nitte Institute of Speech and Hearing extends a warm invitation to participate in the International Conference on Childhood Communication Disorders (Ni-CCoD) on September 27th and 28th, 2024, at Mangaluru, Karnataka. The conference aims to enhance our understanding of Childhood Communication Disorders by exploring the latest advancements in assessment and management from a multidisciplinary perspective. Join us as we engage in scientific sessions with experts in the field. We also encourage researchers to contribute to the collective knowledge on Childhood Communication Disorders through their submission for scientific presentations.

Call for Abstracts

The Nitte International Conference on Childhood Communication Disorders (Ni-CCoD) will be held 27th & 28th September 2024 at the Nitte Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mangalore, Karnataka, India.

Ni-CCoD 2024 provides a forum for researchers, clinicians, educators, and students to share their latest findings, innovative practices, and insights on the complexities of speech, language and hearing disorders in children. Prospective authors are invited to submit original research that addresses a wide range of topics (not limited to) aligning with the general theme of the conference ‘Childhood Communication Disorders’.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

  • The abstract must be about the original clinical/ research work carried out by the authors themselves. No review of literature or compiling of work done by others will be accepted.
  • The file submitted must be in editable format (.doc/ .docx) and contain a title page (includes title, names, affiliation of authors and category submitted under) and the next page, the blinded abstract itself.
  • The abstract should be limited to 1200 words and include clearly defined sections: Introduction, Need for the study, Aim & Objectives, Method, Results & Discussion, and Summary & Conclusion (bibliography optional). For case reports and case series, the abstract should be in the form of an introduction, case report, discussion and, if possible, conclusion.
  • Please check your abstract for similarity with previously published works (i.e., plagiarism). Only papers with ≤15% of similarity will be considered for review and acceptance.
  • Do not mention the author and co-author's name, institute name and address in the abstract.
  • The submitting author will be considered the presenting and corresponding authors for all future communications.
  • Submission is to be made via email to niccod2024@gmail.com on or before 1st August 2024. A decision on acceptance will be intimated through email to the presenting author by 20th August 2024.
Note: On acceptance, the authors must submit a short abstract, which might be considered for publication as conference proceedings with a reputed academic publishing house. Further details regarding this will be communicated upon acceptance.
